Getting hunting fever

Been years since I had hunting fever, this early in the year. Since I moved to the city, I barely think about it until the last second, almost like a chore.

But this year my mind is already thinking about new blinds, scouting, and gear. Not that I really need any gear, but there have been things on my list.

Last year I wrote down a list of things I want to set up or buy before deer season. Have to see if I actually do it. Generated the list during the season.

Will be rifle deer hunting and birds. Thinking alot about getting back into to bow hunting or maybe cross bow, cause I am to lazy to practice.

I know what you mean, it's been a few years since I've been this excited. Upgraded my Jeep from a 90 Wrangler to a 2000, get guns sighted in. Wife got a moose tag this yr. sogot to get her out to the range as well. Talked to one of my buddys the other day, guess our group has 6 moose and 2 cow elk tags to fill, it's going to be a busy fall.
