I ordered a Berreta PX4 storm sub compact 9mm.
I have a Glock 27 40 cal and thought about getting a 26 cuz I like what there doing with 9mm ammo. But I have a 45 or two I can carry iffin Im real skceeeeeerd. LOL

I like Berreta and Buds beat all local prices by far even when I add in FFL transfer fees. Hope it's a good one

I think the PX4 will serve you well.

I've considered the compact for a 9 myself.

I'm not looking for a carry gun because #1 I have some, and mostly #2 I don't put myself in the position of needing one. But it looked like a sweet gun so I ordered it.
Worst case scenario is my kids sell it and break even after I'm gone OR I go postal on some place and use it as my last 13 rds. LOL
