223 twist rates

What is your favorite twist rate? I have 1in9 on my ARs and I think my Minis are 1 in 12. A friend of mine is building an AR and he bought a 1 in 7 upper.

I've got a .223 bolt that is 1in9, and my other .223 is a 1in10.

Is he planning on doing nothing but heavy weight bullets in this AR he's building?

A 1in7 for the average 55 grainer probably isn't going to work so well.
The 1in7 is getting a bit specialized......

The minis had 3 differnt twist rates over the years. A 1in10 originally, then a 1in7 and now a 1in9 which is propbably the best for a range of ammo.

Maybe my minis are 1 in 10s...

I told him that he was going to need heavy bullets all the time. He says that is OK. I like my 1 in 9 though.

My mini is 1 in 9
