What brand do you have and why?

I have a heritage but it has the local sporting goods store name on the front.[Fin Feather Fur] I need another one like yesterday but I'm a little short on the $$$ cuz I keep buying more guns :highly_amused: Looking for recommendations

I've got a Stack On, which was a Christmas present some years ago, so I have no idea what the cost was, or where it even came from.

I dont have many handguns left anymore...I only have a stack on or similar like
Luv's has shown before...a little black steel box with key lock...and I have some good
Winchester cable locks for when I use my S&W carry boxes etc...and have mine out for
cleaning or range etc...they like em locked and unloaded when entering...etc..

Mrs.1shot and my grandgirls sneaked down to the Cheaper than Dirt wharehouse store
several Xmas's ago and got me the steel safe box....I like it...a key is hid, but very
near and ready...when I get up..if i dont wear it...my .40 goes right in box from inside
matress...habit...every day...

There are some real nice safes out there and I envy those with them and a
collection worthy for em....:p

I've got a almost new little white floor/fire safe I inherited or got from Mom..it is fire rated
pretty good...I have documents in it now..but still room for even my gun box ha ha

I have a Liberty Presidential series. Its about the size of a pop machine and weighs 1450 lbs empty. Luckily it isn't empty.

Thanx..a real killer...

Like I say...nephew has got a deer evry year since 99...with it..and he also gets one per
bow...

I only range it, once or twice a year...but yes..one of them "marriages you know...that Weaver
and that 70....I was lucky indeed...and even more fortunate to not have lost it by now, like
my other stuff...

A good cartridge make up/redo indeed....original guy knew what he was doing, whoever wildcatted it
first...I dont know who....

There's Mister Modesty again.....;)

He'll probably be mad....but here's a couple photos I took when there...of our modest
Luv's little grab bag......although...in after thought...will probably pass for BW's too....:glee:

Notice the indoor range hatch at end of first pic...for when it's too cold to go shoot corn....

That has to be BW's, I just have a couple safes hoping that someday I will save enough money to put a gun in one.

I'm sure the wife will be along shortly to tell of the experience I had with her telling us all she was helping to get a safe into the house. I see two versions of the story, but I'm sure most people will just see her side.

See if I can find it as she wrote it.

No safes, no lockboxes, no trigger locks, etc. I keep a loaded weapon in every corner, and one under the pillow. When I need to kill somethin' I ain't gonna be fumbling with keys and locks.

I'm not coming to visit.................LOL!!!!!

Good for you, at leat you don't live in californication, where you'd have to have all of the above, just to store the thoughts of buying a gun.

I have safes around so that when I am not here, it will take some work to grab my guns. It has nothing to do with them all being locked up at all times. I am quite sure that when I am home, there will be no reason to fear someone busting through the door, I'll hide behind the wife, her shotty, and a 9mm that seems to have a problem with not missing an intended target!

Ya, that's the biggest factor right there.

for the homeowner I'd recommend a minimum of two safes.

one for valuables...one for tools.

in the event of an entry...make them bring their own tools.

Thats a good point. I have four large, heavy gang boxes in my basement with most of my tools and stuff locked up tight.
