Anyone else wear and carry in a vest? I wear a black "House of leather" concealed carry vest and love it. Soft leather and great concealment with an easy to get to pocket.

It is something I've been considering, especially for summer use.
I've just recnetly been looking at some of the manufacturers.

Been looking at them. I bought a NRA denim vest, around $60 and American made. What I am not overly happy with is the inside pocket. The vest has a liner, that you can reach into, from either side. But the entire liner is open, with velcro. The velcro holster has does a good job with my SP101. I'd like to find some other holster that work with velcro though.
My Levi jacket has deep pockets, that are nice for snubnoses. I wish it had pockets that you reached into, rather then open liner. But they may have done that so you can fit any size gun.
I plan on using it in the summer, atv, ect. I like pockets. Going to wear it on the bike, should be cooler then leather. I have also been looking at some of canvas vests, in general. Filson makes some, but $$.
I am sure it really needs to be marketed towards concealment. Outback makes a cool looking oiled vest.
Alot of the shit is Chinese.

How about some places to look around at them?
I'm just not finding what I want.

Wait until July and head to Gettysburg during there bike week. There will be all kind of venders that are selling them and they all try to beat the other guys price.

Good tip, and since it's been a good while since I've been to gettysburg, it'll be a good excuse to take a ride.
Iffin I remember by then......

Some sporting good places like Cabelas or Gander Mtn, might have them. The Gander Mtn by me turned into Gunworld, still a Gander Mtn, just small print. I think because Cabelas and Fleet Farm are close. Ganders prices are high on guns and ammo.

Cabelas has a couple, but not much of a selection.

Try Sportsmans Guide, they usually have several that are not expensive. I'm sure the quality matches the price, but is a good way to try them out and see if you like them.
