I like using the Hornady charts because they have a lot of good higher end ammo data and a lot of innovative concoctions to make standard calibers perform better.
I do use their leverevolution ammo for a lever gun and the ballistics on it makes the gun a normal range deer gun instead of a shorter range brush gun.
They've got a lot of other loadings that are just good performing ammo for those that are looking for a little more from their shooting irons.

but DAVE--what is in a chart?

if you don't like one reloading chart...do you find another more to your liking?

my question relates to...same bullet...same powder...same primer...and one chart provides data with more performance?

does that sound safe? I dunno....

Ummm........GEO Buddy, it's a ballistics chart, not a loading manual.

Hornady has lots of higher performing caps to pop than a lot of the others.

To answer your quiestion, no, it doesn't matter when it comes to reloading with the same powder, bullet, case, and primer.:eagerness:
