I have used this brand quite a bit. Mostly I shoot 38 Special, 44 magnum and 45 ACP. It works good and is accurate. I will have to get some time and chrono some of it.

More of it just came in the mail today. I am going to play with this ammo some this weekend. I might chrono this 45 load and see whats up.

I have only used the cowboy type loads. I chose them more for price, but ya I do look for them. I haven't tried any of there performance loads.

I just got in from shooting some Magtech 45 ACP 230 grain +P loads. I chronoed some of them. I got 928 fps for 440 ft-lbs out of my M&P and 980 fps for 490 ft-lbs out of my Para 1911 with a 5" barrel.
The ammo functioned well with no jams or anything else out of the ordinary. The SD was very low meaning the ammo is very consistant. I like that.

Good info, and it brings me one step closer to actually getting a chrono that I've thought about for years.

Don't wait. It is a valuable tool. They don't cost much either.
