New guns coming out constantly

I don't think I ever emember a time when there were so many new products coming out from the gun manufacturers like there has been over the past few years, and it still continues.

Hornady just came out with the 17 hornet, and savage took up the loading in one of it's rifles.

Ruger just came out with it's low end rifle and now TC has come out with an interchangeable barrel rifle system.

Every time I get a magazine in the mail I see new stuff.

It's a great time to be a shooting sports afficianado, but the bank account keeps getting emptied because of it. LOL.

I too see a lot of new guns coming out, but what about technology? It seems like all the guns are just different on the outside but the insides are the same as they have been for 50 years.

Hogdon has a new powder out that supposedly gets rid of copper fouling as you shoot.

Now there's some technology.

How do you guys find out about new stuff? Magazine or website, and which? Just hang out in stores?

My gun dealer works with me, I go into his office every day to see what's new that he's ordering and what great deals he's giving me.

Forums work good too, and going to manufacturers web sites.

What magazines? Only thing I read is NRA, American Hunter.

I stopped getting the american hunter many moons ago, even though I've been a life member since the early 80's.

Guns and ammo is the one that gives the most info on new products it seems.
